Welcome to the Village of Mettawa!

Mettawa is a unique village in which it is surrounding by acres and acres of open space and Lake County Forest Preserves. It has two hotels, two commercial businesses and Costco on their business sector located on Riverwoods Road and Boulevard.  As a result, Mettawa has implemented a real estate tax to help supplement the various village programs. 

New residents should ensure the Village Clerk has received your contact number(s) and active emails.  The village’s communications are sent electronically. As a result, keeping the village informed of your current email is essential. Here is the link to the New Resident Application form.
