Accessibility and Accommodations
Statement Concerning Website Accessibility
The Village of Mettawa (Village) strives to ensure that everyone has access to our full range of collections, programming, events, meetings, and services.
The Village has selected the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), version 2.1, level AA, as its accessibility standard, and strives to conform to the WCAG standard to ensure our digital offerings are accessible.
If you encounter any accessibility barriers when using the Village’s website or apps, or if you would like to report any other accessibility concerns, whether digital, technological, or physical, or if you would like to request reasonable accommodations, please contact us at [email protected]. We will work diligently to provide you with accessible content and reasonable accommodations that address your needs.
Statement Concerning Reasonable Accommodations
The Village of Mettawa (Village) encourages people with disabilities to participate in our programs, services, and public meetings.
If you have questions about physical access, need handouts in alternate format, or require American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation, CART, or other reasonable accommodations to participate, please contact us at [email protected].
Please request any accommodations as early as possible, but at least seven (7) days in advance of the program or event, so that proper arrangements may be made. If you have requested ASL interpretation or other accommodation and find you cannot attend, please contact us promptly to cancel your request.
