A real estate transfer stamp is required for a new property acquisition. The Grantee (buyer) is responsible of obtaining the real estate stamp.
Please call or email the Village Clerk to schedule an appointment. Upon scheduling an appointment a New Resident Contact Form will be provided.
Quit Claim Deed
Quit Claim Deeds can be completed at no cost to the resident. Your visit will need to include the original deed to be stamped by the Village Clerk prior to submitting this document to the Lake County Recorder of Deeds office. Please call or email the Village Clerk to schedule an appointment.
